but damn if I don't live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Going home from work tonight I spotted this rainbow in the rear view mirror. Of course I had the camera with me, so I turned around and parked. That's how I got the great cloud shot as well. I turned to return to the car and saw God's beautiful work surrounding me!

This LO was inspired, and closely resembles a LO I found in Creating Keepsakes, July 06 issue, page 88, titled iWork by Ali Edwards.
It was fun just snapping photos and seeing what I got. No worrying about lighting or mood or if I needed to be in macro, etc. I just had fun, and put together one of my most favorite LO's to date!!

Another Saturday night has passed, and I attended the digi scrappers anonymous crop again. This week we talked about sketches! I love sketches! I used a photo of Jahari which I made B/W then applied the Virtual Photographer Plug-in too.

Experiment in color

As you may know, during the Scrappers Anonymous Meeting on Saturday night (threescrapateers.com) we discussed making a photo have only partial color. This is a great way to spice up your layouts! Tonight, I played around with a couple different techniques. In a couple of photos I did the B/W, but in the others I desaturated the remaining photo. Take a look at my new layout! Of course I made a template to go along with it. I am having too much funny with templates! The font is PC Jenn Pen. And as always, thanks for looking!

I love this song by Christina Aguilera! I designed the template then began by filling it in. When I was satisfied with the papers and photo, I recolored the template and added texture. The flower was recolored also. Thanks for looking!

Here are some recent photos of Jahari, the Queen Bee Cat. She is such a silly thing! She is on my lap supervising, snuggling with my mom's teddy bear Ted (on her duckie blanket with the chimpmunk too!) and snuggled up on my sheet (all inside out and judging from the smile on her face just purr-fect!)
